According to the report by public relations of the university, the article by Amir Hossein Ghasemi, a faculty member of the computer department in Bozorgmehr University of Qaenat, entitled: "Optimal Selection of the Cluster Head in Wireless Sensor Networks by Combining the Multiobjective Genetic Algorithm and the Gravitational Search Algorithm" has been accepted and published in the journal of "Sensors" with the credit of "JCR-Q3" and the impact factor of "2.336".
In this research, a new optimization approach is presented for wireless sensor network clustering using multi-objective genetic algorithm and gravity search algorithm. The multi-objective genetic algorithm based on reducing the intra-cluster distances and reducing the energy consumption of cluster nodes is used to select the cluster head and almost optimal routing based on the gravitational search algorithm to transmit information between the cluster head nodes and the nodes. The sink node implementation results show that due to the capabilities of the multi-objective genetic algorithm and the gravity search algorithm, the suggested method has improved energy consumption, efficiency, data delivery speed, and information packet transfer rate compared to the previous methods.
